Floors

Floors are a key part of any home. Floor types vary depending on their application and also occupant's preference and budget. Floors are now installed with a layer of insulation underneath to prevent heat loss from the home through the floors. Depending on the home-owners wishes, some floors may come in two layers, a roughly finished slab with a thin, well finished 'screed' on top when all outer work is completed. This ensures that the floor finish is in excellent condition for the subsequent floor-covering to be applied.
