External Walls

External walls are a key part of any home. The external walls protect the occupants from wind and rain while also providing structural stability to the home itself. External walls are generally constructed using a cavity construction, whereby the internal leaf carries the various loads of a house such as the roof, windows, doors and floors, while the external leaf protects the inner leaf from the effects of the weather surrounding a house.
